The photograph shows a typical in-bodyshell seat belt anchorage test being carried out on our seating systems at MIRA – The Motor Industry Research Association.

The test involves the application of calculated loads applied to the seat belt anchorages through heavy chains. Impact loads and the way they are experienced in real accidents are replicated in the tests.
